I guess it's a little bit past Christmas time, huh... I will post some pictures another day... We did have a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year. We spent Christmas here and New Year's at Shaun's parents house. Spencer is still asking "Santa Claus" to bring him a rabbit and sit it on the couch (that's where we placed all of their toys they got from Santa this year). What a crazy kid. What's even crazier is that he thinks he talked to Santa one night (Brandon) and promises that Santa is going to bring him a bunny rabbit so he can hold it, when he says his prayers at night by himself, he asks Heavenly Father to tell Santa to bring him a rabbit, and he wakes up every morning and says he dreamed about rabbits. All this talk of rabbits came about because Mom read Spencer the book "The Velveteen Rabbit" one night while she was keeping them and it hasn't let up for weeks. If Santa were to bring a rabbit, it would definitely be a stuffed one because we don't have a great track record for keeping live animals...especially bunnies.
The past month or so has been a little busy...not too bad though. Yesterday was the most chaos we've had in a while. A couple people in our ward died and I had obligations for that and time I got done finishing those obligations about 6:00 last night, Shaun called from the 76 station in Lugoff and said that our vehicle wouldn't start. Good timing when you have three kids in the car and they're all a little sleepy, huh. Thank goodness he had just gotten them milkshakes for a treat! :) After the stop for shakes, he stopped at the gas station to get gas...turned the car off and that was where they sat for a good 2 hours. When I got there to help jump start the car, he was a little out of patience...when I opened the door, I heard why. Spencer was screaming and Carson was squirming about to wake up and Andrew wasn't quite sure what his next move was. We took them out of the car and I asked Shaun if he thought the firefighters at the fire station would let the boys just look at a fire truck for a few minutes so they could be occupied for a little bit until Brandon could get there with his friend Kevin to help us fix the car. Long story short...the firefighters were so nice and let the boys sit in a fire truck, look at all the cool parts and hoses...and we even got to see the fire trucks and firefighters leave to go put out a fire. We got our own personal show. The boys were ecstatic...inside of course...because they're so shy they don't really show their emotions to other people. But thanks to the few Lugoff firefighters to help us have a little bit of sanity while we waited to get our car fixed. Shaun finally got home about 10 last night...along with Brandon and Kevin, who had so graciously driven him around town to get a starter, get the parts, and fixed our car, saving us hundreds of dollars....can't thank them enough for their generosity! So a big shout out to them!! :)
Hope everyone's doing great and had a great holiday season. Sorry we haven't kept up the blog scene lately. I guess other priorities have take the place of me sitting down and keeping this up to date. When it rains, it pours around here. Have a great Monday!

I've been waiting on some updates. That is a "great" family picture. Glad you and your family had a good Christmas and New Year's. That was so cool that the firemen let the boys see a "real" fire truck. I know they loved that.
