Jenny was off on Tuesday, so we took the boys to the zoo and met up with Ashley. There were a couple of highlights of the trip. The first was a koala was actually awake and active. It was fun to watch ... I know that Jenny enjoyed it, because the koalas are her favorite exhibit, and where she and Brandon got engaged.
The second was they have a new "ride" at the zoo. They have train that goes around a small track a couple of times and I think everyone had a great time riding what I call "choo-choo soul" train. Any of you that have kids and watch Disney channel know what I'm talking about :) I tried to just get the kids to ride it, but when we got up to the front Andrew wouldn't get on without me riding it with him, so I did. My knees were just about up to my chin in those little boxcars ... what we do for our kids. We had a great time and the weather was absolutely perfect and it wasn't too crowded so that made for an enjoyable trip.
