carson's birthday

Here's our little monkey at his monkey birthday party...back in November. A little behind, I know. I think Carson had a great time. There was definitely no structured activities at this one, but I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated Carson turning 2!

Here's a couple of things about Carson that you might know or might not know:

• He is a very finicky eater. His diet consists of fruit - he can eat a whole can of mandarin oranges in one sitting - yogurt ... sometimes 2 a day - some bread - and soy milk and juice, and ice water from a straw ... and I forgot ANYTHING sweet. He loves lollipops, which my other 2 boys won't even touch.
• He has some very animated facial expressions.
• He loves monkeys.
• He's a little on the aggressive side.
• He wants anything Andrew and Spencer have, and does anything Spencer and Andrew do.
• He has an obsession with saying potty words ... probably because Spencer and Andrew feed the fire on this one, and encourage him to say them.
• He gets overly excited about things he likes.
• He loves to sing and dance.
• His favorite songs are "Popcorn Popping", "Once there was a Snowman", and "Book of Mormon Stories".
• He loves "riding the horsey" on Grandaddy's leg
• He loves watching Mr. Bean {Spencer and Andrew converted him to loving it}
• He loves his blankies and has no problem getting in his bed and falling asleep at night or at naptime ... he also takes a paci still at naptime and bedtime {I'm still working on how we're going to take that one away without us going insane}.
