our holidays

Shaun has had the past two weeks off of work and I have SOOO enjoyed him being at home. He'll probably go back to work on Monday to get some "vacation", but I'm going to miss him as I'm sure the boys will too! He's done some great projects around the house, we've had a wonderful Christmas, an excellent new year, memorable times with both of our WONDERFUL families...so I don't think I could have asked for a better couple of weeks.
Here's some pictures of our holidays ...

Waiting to go downstairs to see what Santa had brought. Spencer was up at 5 a.m. and wouldn't be quiet and leave me alone about going downstairs until I told him to go wake everyone up at 6:45.

Cookies and milk for Santa

Christmas Eve Night...one of Carson's signature looks

Jenny, Brandon, and Jenny's dad and his wife

The boys with my dad and his wife Janet

The beginning of all the madness of opening presents at Gran and Papa's house

Carson was very protective of his new scooter

My niece Madison and her new fingernails

We forgot Carson's paci at home and this was the only one to be found...a cute pink one

The end of all the madness of opening presents...are they spoiled by their grandparents or what

Lighting ALL the candles for Shaun and his brother Scott's birthday (78 in all) :)

The smoke from the candles ... thank goodness the smoke alarm didn't go off!

Andrew, Spencer and Madison wearing their crowns from the crackers

The cousins ... Leighton, Madison, and my boys

I hope all of you enjoyed your holidays as much as we did. We took all of our decorations down when we got back from Shaun's parents house but this is one decoration I just might leave up the whole year. I received it as a Christmas gift 3 years ago and it is my favorite. It reminds me of the wonderful event that took place that literally changed everything.
