Vacation 2010

Back in October, we went on our family vacation that we had been waiting all year to go on.  Andrew’s little incident costs us a couple of days, and Spencer got sick at the end and cost us a couple more, but overall, we really had a great time and got to see a lot in the time we were gone!

The best part was I got to see my friend Kate that I hadn’t seen in over a year!  Her and her husband were very generous in allowing us to stay with them most of the time we were up north.

I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves…there’s LOTS of pictures – I took over a thousand to be exact…I just didn’t post them all here because you would probably be bored to death.  I took tons of scenery pics because the leaves were just starting to turn and were BEAUTIFUL.  AND I really didn’t know how beautiful the country sides were in PA and MD in real life.  So I definitely wanted to remember that!

Here’s Philadelphia…

Here’s Reading, PA, Strasburg Railroad, and Amish Country…

The kids had a blast riding the train and I was intrigued by the Amish.  It was almost like hide and seek to see what road we could travel down and find a group of Amish people.

Cabela’s and Crystal Cave

Shaun had been waiting forever to actually go in this Cabela’s and it was really impressive if I have to say so myself…

Crystal Cave was an attraction we had stumbled upon and I’m so glad we didn’t have such a strict agenda that we would have missed this awesome opportunity.
