I'm glad that Spencer and Andrew both enjoy books. They could sit there for what seems like hours (actually 15 mintues) and look at books. I hope they continue to enjoy books and reading. Sometimes that's the only quiet time in our day...when we sit down together and read books. That quietness lasts only a short time and they're ready to conquer something else...or pull everything off the shelves. I think they enjoy watching their mommy put everything back just so they can pull it down again. This weekend was quiet as well. Shaun was off on Friday and was able to get a few things done around the house...actually...outside the house like powerwash the driveway. I've swept it off in the past but I didn't realize how dirty it was until Shaun started powerwashing it and you could see all the grime just wash away. I love it when he's home on Friday's! He can get done all the stuff I don't know how to do or don't like to do.
This morning I've been trying to concentrate on getting Andrew's invitations done so I can mail them out tomorrow. They've taken me longer than I thought. Oh well...the rest of my morning has been trying to teach Spencer colors and sounds of letters. He's still not talking as well as I'd like for him to at his age...but he's progressing at his own pace.
Hope everyone has a great Monday...here's a couple of pictures that we thought were too funny. Shaun gets a kick out of disfiguring our boys' faces for our enjoyment.
