Spencer stayed with Grandmother on Tuesday while Andrew went to the doctor and he had a blast. He helped Grandaddy put on 3 doorknobs, rode the golfcart, and probably drove Grandmother crazy...but I know he had a good time. Here's a couple of pictures of Spencer being a big helper
...and Andrew enjoying playing with the wrapper from the doorknob
and definitely enjoying some of Grandmother's lovin'.
We ate dinner over there that night and Shaun went over to the church to play basketball with a couple of guys and the elders. Grandmother entertained us for a little while longer and we left. When we got home the boys were absolutely worn out. They didn't even hardly wake up when we changed their diapers and put them in their beds. Hard day of playing!
On Wednesday it poured down rain just about all morning. It quit early afternoon and that was certainly a good thing. We went outside for a little bit and the boys enjoyed playing on the little slide and swing castle that Nana got them for Easter/Andrew's birthday. They LOVE it!!

We let Oreo out for a little bit so he could nibble on some grass and run around and when we started looking for him, we couldn't find him anywhere.
We looked in the usual places that he likes to go - under the picnic table and under the wagon and he wasn't anywhere to be found. I heard something near the picnic table and when I went back to look a little more closely...Oreo had gone in the watering can that was under the picnic table. He was enjoying a little peace and quiet from Spencer. Of course when Spencer discovered where he was,
he HAD to try and get him, pick him up
and carry him everywhere until the bunny started scratching. fun...fun...
When Shaun got home, we went out to eat at my favorite Mexican place...San Jose. And it certainly hit the spot. We found a kids plate that had the cheese quesadilla that Spencer will eat and I thought we would try to give Andrew the mexican rice that came on the plate. He LOVED it. I had to stop giving it to him because I thought I had given him too much and his tummy might start hurting. Spencer wouldn't touch the rice so it worked out perfect.
So that's been it the past couple of days. I think I might take the boys to the zoo today when they wake up. It's supposed to be nice today...warm...but sunny. Tomorrow and the weekend are supposed to be nasty so we better enjoy the sunshine. Hope everyone has a great Thursday!
Have fun Ashley traveling this weekend and enjoy the wedding!

I bet your grandparents just loved having the kids over!!
Hey Ging! Our weekend was great! Hope Emery didn't tear down your house while I was gone. Mom said she enjoyed Spencer and Andrew. Glad to hear Andrew is doing better. (Love the pic of Spencer gradding Oreo by the ears - lol!)
