blackberries

It looks like we are going to have to see if the mattress will go down any farther on Andrew's crib. He got pretty close to tumbling head first today. He's got a hard head though :)

I enjoyed talking to my 2 good friends today...it was good to catch up. Thanks for the phone calls Ashley and Tonya.

Tonight when Shaun got home we adventured over to San Jose Restaurant and I definitely ate too much. We were going to get our weekly groceries tonight but I wasn't feeling all that well. Oops. When we got home around 8 or so, I went out to water our flower garden and Spencer enjoyed playing on a "jungle gym" type thing that a couple at church gave to us. After a good cleaning it looked like new. It makes me rethink buying everything new and checking out yard sales and consignment shops if they clean up that good! And after they're out in the sun for a little while they don't look new anymore anyways. After a little bit, Shaun and Andrew came out too to play and Spencer's going to have a run for his money with all his toys. Andrew's getting to where he wants to play with them too, and for the longest time the toys have just been "Spencer's" because he's been the only one big enough to play with them....not anymore :)

When we went outside, I didn't know there were some blackberry bushes near the back of our house. Shaun pointed them out to me and we all went down there to check them out. Spencer and Andrew thought they were the greatest things ever. Andrew won't hardly touch a piece of fruit, little stinker, but he loved the blackberries. He and Spencer both wanted to pick their own. We tried to make sure they didn't pick the red ones, but they probably got some in their tummies anyways as fast as they were picking :) If they get sick tomorrow, we'll know what it's from.

Have a great Friday!
