let's go fly a kite

We went to Shaun's parents' house this weekend and it was absolutely wonderful weather! One of the highlights of the trip was flying the kite. Shaun's mom had gotten the boys a couple of kites for Easter and the wind was blowing so what a perfect time to fly a kite. The boys definitely enjoyed it! They also enjoyed their favorite activities of riding the tractor and feeding the horses.

Another highlight of the week/weekend is that we got high speed internet through the satellite so we can get things downloaded a lot faster...so maybe I can blog a little more :) Oh happy day for me!! I was sooo excited!

This morning we had preschool and Ashley did a great job. Even though sometimes we feel that the kids aren't really paying much attention...at least we are exposing them to letters and numbers and having fun activities for them to do! And we, the moms, definitely enjoy having one another to talk to while the kids are eating lunch and playing.

Spencer and Andrew have paid a lot more attention to Carson these days and this is one of my favorite pictures. Spencer wanted to feed Carson so I let him do it and he did such a great job! He stayed in that same spot on the couch until Carson had drank the last drop. Andrew asked Spencer to do something and he said, "I can't...I have to finish feeding Carson." What a sweet brother (most of the time)!

I'm not quite sure if you can see Andrew's goose egg very well that he got on his head last Monday...from falling head first onto the bottom step. It's almost gone all the way down now just with a little bruising. Just gave us a good scare :)
