a new venture

Tonight we had dinner with Brandon and Jenny and Mom. Some good ole hot dogs and mac and cheese...yummy! After dinner we tried our hand at some sewing...or Jenny tried her hand at sewing a bag I've had the pattern cut out for at least a year. She's just been a sewing fool the last little bit! Better watch out! We've been thinking about starting a little "business" with some handmade items...look for our new catalog in the next little bit...just kidding! We better just see how long it's going to take for just one of these bags and go from there!

Here's the finished product except for the handles...that's still in progress.

Anyways...life is still good. Mom kept the boys for me for a little while today so I could go get some very needed necessities from WalMart...like diapers and milk and formula. We didn't go out on our weekly shopping trip last Friday because we headed to Shallotte, so we definitely were running out of everything. Then I checked in at the house to make sure the boys were okay and headed out one more time to try and find some things for Andrew's birthday party next week. It sure is hard trying to find construction themed items. I looked in Michael's forever to find something with a tractor or a bulldozer or anything on it for invitations and was unsuccessful. I found some stuff on oriental trading but it was going to cost an arm and a leg for shipping in order for it to arrive here on time...so nevermind. Anyways...hope everyone had a great Tuesday!
