father's day and more critters

For Father's Day, Shaun wanted to go to Swan Lake and let the boys feed the ducks and swans, so that's what we did. It wasn't too extremely hot, but the humidity was a little on the high side. The boys really had a great time though. Here's some of my favorite pictures from the day. I tried A LOT of times to get a "perfect" picture of the boys with their daddy where all of them were looking and smiling but that just didn't happen. Oh well ...

We've had a few more critter incidents lately. One was totally harmless...the cute baby frogs that we found all over the yard...

Then there was a frog that fell out of the table umbrella as I was picking it up to put it back in the table...and it just happened to fall right on my head. Too bad I don't have a picture of my reaction :)

A little later, we were inside and I see a lizard on the window. It didn't bother me too bad until I got right up to it and saw that it was on the inside and not the outside. I tried to catch it but it jumped down and went under the couch faster than I could get it. I just tried to forget about it and just figured it would show up sometime, somewhere. I wasn't too worried about it because lizards aren't really scary to me...if you were Pam or Tonya, the house would have been evacuated until someone got there to scoop up the lizard :) I did manage to forget about the lizard until my cousin Erika came over so we could work on her wedding invitations, and I went to go plug in the laptop in the playroom and this is what I found ... this totally caught me off guard. Tonya and Pam would have had an absolute heart attack :) I didn't try to catch it because I had been unsuccessful before so I let Shaun handle it.

Hope everyone had a great Wednesday!
