lots o stuff

So here's Carson's new hair do...it still is SOOO spiky but when you put it to the side, it's not so bad. I told Shaun, now he just needs a hairbow to keep the hair out of his face...just kidding :)











Emery stayed at our house for a few hours while Ashley was at girls' camp and everyone seemed to have a great time. I managed to get a couple of shots. Carson's head is bigger than Emery's I think :) Emery will have plenty of practice holding babies real soon with her own baby brother or sister :)








Last week Ashley and I visited with our friend TaMara (Branham) for a little bit and got a picture of all our little kiddos. TaMara's our high school friend and then was our BYU roomate, and now her and her husband Matt and little boy Zach are living out in Utah. They were just here visiting family and it was great seeing her again!

Spencer and Emery having fun in the pool. Andrew wouldn't set foot in the pool, and Carson had the shakes when I put his feet in. But Spencer and Emery definitely enjoyed it! By the way...LOVE the bumbo...it is such a mom necessity. Not quite sure what I did without it :)

Hope everyone had a great fourth of July! We just chilled out, went shopping, and then went to my grandmother's for some BBQ chicken, ribs, hamburgers and all the fixings. And of course watermelon, , cobbler, and some homemade banana ice cream...the good stuff :) Mom sure does know how to churn up some AWESOME ice cream. I think I ate my weight in the sweets! Last night we were going to head out to see some fireworks but ended up sitting on my grandmother's front porch and seeing their neighbors light up the sky with some fireworks of their own. I just love spending time with the fam. And Spencer and Andrew created some new terms for the word "fireworks". Some of them include ... "firelights" and "firerocks". Not quite sure where they came up with those! :)
