happy belated new year

Belated seems to be the story of my life lately. Just wanted to let everyone know that we were still alive. To bring everyone up to date...we all had a wonderful Christmas. The boys got spoiled rotten, we have been celebrating Christmas for the past 3 weeks. Here's the one picture out of 75 that we took that turned out good for their Christmas pictures...and I'm sure glad that it did.
All of the boys weren't too keen on sitting on Santa's lap and telling him what they wanted for Christmas. There were definitely some tears involved, and this is the only way I was going to get the boys pictures taken with Santa. I so was not dressed for this occasion. Oh well...life is full of improvising.
We went and saw the lights at Saluda Shoals...and went through twice, just to get our money's worth. The kids loved it :)
We went out to dinner with Mom, Brandon, and Jenny and then came back to the house to celebrate Christmas with them before they headed off to DC for Christmas.
The boys enjoyed making Christmas cookies for Santa, and it made it even more special with the aprons and hats that their nursery teacher at church gave them.
On Christmas Eve we celebrated Christmas with my mom's side of the family at my Grandmother's house. You can see Valencia's blog for a great description of this wonderful night.
Here's the only picture of all 3 boys on Christmas Eve that I got. Spencer's hanging on tight to Carson trying to keep him in the picture. Carson sure is a busy body these days.
Here's a picture of Andrew and his favorite past time...drinking milk. I'm glad I captured it on camera :)
And last but not least, a picture of the boys prized posessions...all they mainly wanted this year was a tractor and a "hay baler". I think Santa got the last two off of the shelf at Tractor Supply :)
This past week we went to Shaun's parent's and it was absolutely wonderful I'm sure for his mom and dad to have all of their children and grandchildren there. We don't get that opportunity very often, so we all had a blast. We took some family pictures at the beach, and when I find my camera I'll have to post them.
Well...I think we're all updated for now :) I hope everyone had a wonderful new year, full of all the fun, family, and new goals to have a better year this year. I know I sure did :) Have a great Friday!!

Their pajamas are adorable! And I love rest of the photos! I miss when all of you were small--it passes way too quickly as I'm sure you're realizing. I love you so much, Ginger. Keep up the good work--you're AMAZING!!!
