Wednesday, I received a phone call waking me up and it was Jenny. She asked me if I had gotten her text on my cell phone. My cell phone does not pick up here at the house, so I called her back and told her I hadn't gotten it...what was it? By this time, I was a little worried and wanted to make sure everything was alright. And then she told me the wonderful news...she and Brandon are going to be expecting a baby sometime this year :) She goes to the doctor the end of March to find out everything.
It was soooo hard to keep a wonderful secret like that all day, because Jenny wanted to tell Mom and Grandmother in person. So I told her I would call everyone to have dinner at Grandmother's and then we could make some homemade ice cream. So I made some phone calls, left messages... then that night she was able to tell everyone and I was able to breathe easier knowing I didn't have to keep it in any longer.
I'm so excited for the journey that she and Brandon are about to embark...it's hard, yet very rewarding.
Here's a picture of the boys WAITING for that ice cream churn to stop churning. They were about to drive Grandaddy crazy with all their questions and excitement.
I hate that I don't have any pictures Jenny as she told everyone. I only have a video of Mom crying tears of joy as Jenny hands her the pregnancy test.
