leprechaun invasion

Do I get Mom of the year award for allowing our school room to look like this while the boys were making leprechaun traps? 

We were supposed to only make one…but I think they suppose a whole tribe of leprechauns are going to invade our home Wednesday night.  They’ve made all kinds of plans on what each contraption does in each trap.  There’s trap doors, hidden “gold” under onion grass they picked from the back yard… because that’s the only grass that’s growing {and it does STINK like onions}, bridges and ladders the leprechaun can lose his balance on and fall into a trap, and MANY MANY more imaginative ideas. 

Here’s some of the finished products.  And after I type this, we’re off to clean up so we can have a space for school tomorrow!
