All of the boys really enjoy playing sports. Baseball season came and went this year and I’m really proud of both Andrew and Spencer for giving it their best shot and trying really hard! We really enjoyed going to their games and sharing in their excitement!!
SPENCER
Spencer is one little fella that really tries his hardest at everything he does. He always gives 100%. It was fun to see how much he progressed from last year! And his enthusiasm…aka…jumping up and down on the field at every play…was very entertaining for all of us.
Spencer’s favorite memory of playing baseball he told me was playing first base for one game. He usually played just about all the positions, mostly 2nd and shortstop, but he was way excited to have played 1st base.
ANDREW
I promise Andrew was excited to play baseball. Way excited! I was so proud of him going straight out on the field this year and not needing any coaxing from either Shaun or I. The boys were on different teams this year which made a little bit of a crazy season, but I think it turned out to be ideal for Andrew!
Andrew ignored us during the game, especially while in the dugout. It was so hot several days and we wanted to make sure he was hydrated, so we would just have to leave the gatorade by him on the bench in the dugout and just walk away. Eventually he would drink it once he thought we weren’t looking at him ☺
Some tidbits about Andrew’s season…
- he spit ALL the time
- he played 3rd base the whole season
- they didn’t have a coach at first and ended up placing 2nd in the league
- baseball is all he wanted to do all the time when he played outside and watch it when he was inside
Shaun didn’t want the boys to play baseball at first and didn’t enjoy watching it on TV, but I’m glad that he’s changed his mind and LOVES seeing our boys play ball!
And this is all Carson wanted to do…
