I wish Andrew had been in a better mood, but he whined and cried at just about everyone that looked his way. We found out on Sunday though the reason he was acting so puny. Early Sunday morning he started throwing up and continued throughout the day. His fever peaked at 105.5 which was kinda scary. It's never been that high so we did what I normally wouldn't do and call the nurse hotline at our doctor's office. They told us to give him Motrin to try to control his fever and make him an appointment for today. We went and they did a strep throat test and a flu test but they were both negative. They pricked his toe and checked his blood and the results came back that his white blood cell count was high and that was an indicator that his body was trying to fight something...the doctor just didn't know what. So we have to make another trip in the morning to see if he's doing good or if they can pinpoint what's making him sick. I just hope that tonight he gets better by some miracle. Spencer never got sick...we only took him to the doctor for his well checkups...so making so many doctor's visits and really getting to know the doctor is totally new to us.
Andrew got a wagon for his birthday from his Gran and Papa
and I think Spencer has enjoyed it far more...just about like all of Andrew's other toys that he got for his birthday. Spencer thought it was his birthday all over again or something. Anyways...Shaun, with Spencer's "help", put the wagon together last night and Spencer wanted to take it for a spin. He jumped in the wagon for me to pull him around the house but there was just no room because of all the other chaos on the floor so Shaun took the wagon outside for a little ride. Andrew didn't want to be left out, so he started his whining until we put him in the wagon too. They had a blast. It was dark outside but who cares when you're having fun!
Here's a picture of the flower garden that we finished this past week.
The finishing touch was the mulch that we put down. I was happy with the way it turned out.
Spencer enjoys so much helping me water the flowers. Today he got a little out of control with the hose and got me good, but all you can do is laugh.
Oh...I know one thing we did last week...was we went to Disney on Ice. This picture sums up the whole experience I think.
Spencer and Andrew enjoyed it but I don't think as much as they did the circus. :) Spencer was pretty good until after intermission and he started getting a little restless.
Well it's taken me a couple of days to get this entry done. We took Andrew to the doctor this morning and they said it looked like a viral infection instead of a bacterial infection which was good news. We just need to keep him on Tylenol or Motrin to keep his fever down.
Hope everyone's having a great week so far!

Great pics Ging! Looks like Andrew had a great party - I love the farm theme. That is too cute. Hate to hear that Andrew was not feeling well. Turns out we have to take Emery to the doctor tomorrow. Hope it's just a cold but more than likely, it's another ear infection. We'll see. Love the flower garden!! Looks beautiful!! :)
So cute!!! :)
