spencer's first day of preschool

Well today Spencer started preschool. I have had knots in my stomach all week about what to expect today, and I was pleasantly surprised that Spencer went right in to his classroom and started playing. Yesterday when we had "Meet the Teacher" and we went in, he wouldn't let me go hardly 2 steps away from him. That's why I was a little nervous about today. He definitely held up better than I did :) But he did great and I think he had a great time in the classroom. Shaun was off today so we all walked him in, and as we were walking towards the building, I asked him to take a picture by the playground. He didn't want to and said, "No more pictures please". But I took them anyways. And Carson and Andrew wanted to join in as well. So here's to changes, and growth, and adventures Spencer Reilly Wood.

Awwh, I started crying when I read this! We are so proud of him, he looks so grown up with his bookbag! We love you, Spencer!!

I remember when we were still in school and Grandmother would say "Did you get all of your studies done?" And now it's another generation and Spencer will be "getting all his studies done."

Hey, Ginger! I'm so glad it's working out for you at Bethesda! He looks so grown up! We got a call just after we got to Oklahoma that a spot had opened up for Kelsey in pre-K. Of course we're not there... and now I have to get at the END of every waiting list out here!

It's so exciting when they start school. But it just means they are growing up too fast.
